GARDEN SLEEPERS
Our Tasmanian garden sleepers are a great way to redesign your outdoor space. These railway sleepers are perfect for non-structural landscaping jobs such as garden beds, raised veggie patches and sandpits and they can be painted or stained to fit any colour scheme. Or you can save time and skip this step by using our Sienna Sleepers which we pre-stain to a rich, red-brown colour.
All our sleepers are treated with Tanalith E so there is no arsenic and therefore no usage restrictions, unlike CCA treated sleepers. Sleepers are a wet product which means they haven’t been re-dried and so can be susceptible to movement. Using quality zinc galvanized or stainless steel fixings and ensuring your sleepers are fixed in place well will reduce this.
